FAQs

How do I contact Ninth Solutions about my tax return?

All tax-related communication should be sent through email or the client portal.

Calls and text messages are accepted only through our official business number (404-908-0221).

Messages sent to personal phone numbers or social media will not be monitored or responded to.

What is your response time?

Our standard response time is within 48 business hours.

Most tax matters are not urgent unless we are approaching an active filing or regulatory deadline. Sending multiple messages across different platforms will not result in faster responses.

Why can’t I text or message on social media anymore?

To ensure consistency, compliance, and accurate recordkeeping, Ninth Solutions no longer communicates about client matters through social media or personal devices.

Social media is used solely for education, announcements, and engagement.

Where do I upload my tax documents?

All documents should be uploaded securely through the client portal.

Please do not email sensitive documents unless specifically instructed to do so.

I’m a returning client. Do I need to complete the organizer again?

Yes. All returning clients are required to complete the Returning Client Organizer each year.

This allows us to:

  • Confirm any changes to your personal information

  • Verify income documents

  • Confirm refund preferences

What happens if I don’t submit my documents by the deadline?

Internal document submission deadlines are posted in the Client Resource Center.

If documents are not received by the posted cutoff date:

  • Your return may be filed on extension, or

  • Your return may be delayed until all required information is received

When does the IRS start accepting tax returns?

IRS filing season dates are announced annually and posted in the Important Tax Deadlines section of the Client Resource Center once confirmed.

How will I receive my refund?

Refunds are issued by the IRS or state agency, not Ninth Solutions.

Refund method (direct deposit, check, or prepaid card if available) is confirmed annually in your organizer. Processing times vary by agency.

Can I change my bank account for my refund?

Yes. Refund banking information must be confirmed each year and can be updated in your organizer.

Please review this section carefully to avoid delays.

I received an IRS or state notice. What should I do?

Upload the notice directly to the client portal and notify us through email or the portal.

Do not ignore IRS or state notices.

Are tax consultations or additional services included automatically?

Additional services such as prior-year filings, notice resolution, or advisory support may require a separate engagement and are not included unless specified.

How will I know if there are changes to hours or availability?

All updates regarding business hours, closures, or availability will be posted through:

  • The Client Resource Center

  • Client Portal

  • Official business social media pages

  • Text notifications (for clients who opt in)

Who will I be working with at Ninth Solutions?

LaFaye Jones serves in the formal role of Tax Consultant.

As additional external-facing team members are added, clients will be introduced accordingly. Certain operational and compliance roles are internal and not client-facing.

Where can I find forms, policies, and instructions?

All official guides, policies, and instructions are available in the Ninth Solutions Client Resource Center.

Clients are encouraged to review resources there before reaching out with questions.
